European Green Finch Perched on a Mustard Branch, Tiberias, April 4, 2011
In northern Tiberias along the road to Safed I saw a group of birds flying in and out of a mustard patch. I attached my 55-300mm zoom lens and took pictures before the birds moved to another location.. They typically stayed down in the lower branches yet a few remained in the upper branches, perhaps calculating their next moves.
The Gospel described the mustard growing to such a height that the birds of the air perched upon its branches.
